exploring, designing & developing novel & intruiging interfaces for curating data repositories on the web. this course unit will investigate the increasing importance of information repositories that are currently available online. most contemporary data-driven online interfaces, such as weblogs, wikis, photo diaries, location-based search directories, image/sound collections, product review sites, forums & online exhibitions are examples of an emerging online tendency that attempts to collect, order, categorise & curate large amounts of highly specialized data in comprehensible & enjoyable online repositories through peer-to-peer review & voluntary participation.
